ABOUT THE HALLOWEEN BALL

For the Somerset Hills Learning Institute, tuition covers only about 75% of the cost to deliver services to families struggling with autism. With the help of Vivian Ahrens, a local philanthropist with a passion for the Somerset Hills Learning Institute, the idea for the Halloween Ball was born. Under Vivian’s leadership, our inaugural Halloween Ball took place at the Hilton Short Hills on October 27, 2000.

Today, the Somerset Hills Learning Institute continues to make great strides towards the understanding and treatment of autism and still honors its members and guests with an unforgettable evening of fright, fun, and fundraising.
