Our Mission

All families want their children to grow and develop during the school year and to have effective transitions to adult life. For children with special needs, achieving those goals can be a challenge in the public school system without proper educational programs and supports.

The law is clear: children with special needs are entitled to appropriate educational programs and services in the least restrictive environment. Barger & Gaines advocates for students by navigating the educational and legal systems for families. We will work to give your child access to the programs he or she needs in order to grow – academically and socially.
