FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I NEED TO BE AFFILIATED WITH THE INSTITUTE IN ORDER TO ATTEND?
No affiliation is necessary. Anyone interested is welcome to purchase tickets.
WHAT KINDS OF GIVING OPPORTUNITIES ARE THERE?
On site at the Ball, guests will have many giving opportunities, including a silent auction, live auction, raffle, everybody wins, and Fund-A-Mission by Raising-a-Paddle. Guests can participate in as many or as few of these as they feel comfortable with, and options for giving are available at many different price points.
HOW CAN I DONATE IF I’M UNABLE TO ATTEND THE BALL?
In advance of the Halloween Ball, we will be accepting donations of items for our auction and general monetary contributions. You might also consider participating in our advertisement packages! And, you may bid off-site on any of our silent auction items – you do not need to be in attendance to win! For information on how to make a direct donation to Somerset Hills Learning Institute, donate now.
IS THERE A MINIMUM DONATION AMOUNT?
We welcome all donations regardless of amount. No donation is too small to help us make a difference in the lives of people with autism and their families.
ARE TICKETS AND AUCTION/ON-SITE DONATIONS TAX-DEDUCTABLE?
Your contribution is tax deductible in accordance with section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to the full extent permitted under applicable law. Please discuss the specifics of your contribution with your tax professional.
